POPS 2026 CONCERT
Stage & Screen is an afternoon of iconic music from Broadway, Hollywood, and beyond, celebrating the stories and soundtracks that have shaped generations. From sweeping cinematic scores to beloved musical theater favorites, this Spring POPS concert brings the magic of stage and screen to life through the rich, colorful sound of the wind ensemble.
Audiences will hear unforgettable music from The Sound of Music, Porgy and Bess, Schindler’s List, Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, Silverado, and more, alongside American classics by Aaron Copland and John Williams. Highlights include rousing showstoppers, lyrical moments of reflection, and playful virtuosity, including a featured xylophone solo that adds sparkle and flair to the program.
Led by Artistic Director and Conductor John Madden, the Savannah Wind Symphony invites you to enjoy a lively and accessible Sunday matinee filled with nostalgia, drama, and pure entertainment.
